MattM
I mean look at the Jets and Skins--two teams supposed to be near the cap limit this offseason, yet those are the two teams that go out of the gate and land marquee FA's right off the bat. Especially the Skins--how the heck can they afford Sir Albert and Hall and then add Dockery shortly thereafter? Even New England, supposedly up against the cap due to Cassel comes out and signs Taylor and Baker and are rumored to be going after Peppers. The cap seems like it has no effect at all on big market teams wanting to just go out and spend what they want to, leaving us and other small market teams in the dust. What a joke. Parity is what makes the NFL great and when that goes, the NFL will go the way of MLB and that will really suck....

Washington apparently wants to put a good team on the field this year. The Bills...not so much...

BuffaloBill
Yeah... Cap doesn't mean much when you have the money. Washington apparently wants to put a good team on the field this year. The Bills...not so much... Keep in mind Snyder has thrown maney at FA's for years and it has not led to success on the field. NE's success has come from a smart FO and smart coaching staff. They use players on their roster better than anyone. No other team has come remotely close to the plug and play concept they have been able to deploy. BLZFAN4LIFE
Im sorry I am actually starting to think the Bills are a Joke everyones laughing at us. As it was pointed out in a thread a few weeks ago, it's not so much that they are a joke, it's that they are becoming completely irrelevant. I actually recall an interesting piece from TMQ on how the Pats' cheating led to SB titles the result of which was that FAs are willing to play there below market rates. I think we've seen a bunch of that with them over the years, Randy Moss being the biggest ex.
