SKOOBY Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I need to Frankenstein my sabres jersey to the new Bills one.
SWVABillsFan Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 One thing is damn sure obvious: they don't want no one to teach or push Trent. Oh that was two things. My bad.
In space no one can hear Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 At least he wasn't 21st (AKA last)??? I'm running out of optimism today. Quint, out. Here's the rankings he cited: (Scouts.Com) Free Agent QB Rankings Pos Pos Rank Rating Name Type Yr Ht/Wt College 2008 Team Signed Team QB 1 Kurt Warner UFA 11 6-2/222 Northern Iowa Arizona QB 2 Matt Cassel Fran. 4 6-5/225 USC New England New England QB 3 Kerry Collins UFA 14 6-5/245 Penn State Tennessee Tennessee QB 4 Jeff Garcia UFA 10 6-1/205 San Jose State Tampa Bay QB 5 J.T. need therapy Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I think this is a good move. He's not coming in to be the starter, just come in when (unfortunately not if) Edwards gets hurt. He'll do a decent job and will be more competent on the field than JP was last year. Now the Bills FO can focus on filling other gaps.
cåblelady Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Here the list:QB 20 Ryan Fitzpatrick UFA 4 6-2/225 Harvard Cincinnati QB 21 Jamie Martin UFA 14 6-2/205 Weber State San Francisco That's really sad.
HurlyBurly51 Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I am not so sure about that, really. This guy is the bottom of the barrel. The Chicago fans are still laughing at us re: Dick. I can only imagine the reaction if we brought Grosman here.
rackemrack Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Considering JP is number 8 on that list, it doesn't have much credibility. I personally would have preferred Huard, but oh well. my thoughts exactly. JP sucks
firstngoal Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 This move will surely make the top headlines on ESPN and the NFL Network tonight!
extrahammer Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 By Fitzpatrick you surely mean Fitzgerald right???
rackemrack Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 This move will surely make the top headlines on ESPN and the NFL Network tonight! totally, this is bigger than haynesworth...
Ramius Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 he was ok last year, if he only has to start 2-3 games a season I think you mean WHEN he has to start 2-3 (or more) games per season.
silvermike Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Man, when I said I wanted the Bills to bring in a veteran QB to mentor Trent, I didn't mean with his algebra homework.

billsfreak Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&...c=16&pid=10 Scout.com has him listed as the 20th best QB available in FA Not bad considering that only 7 or 8 teams in the league needed QB's at all-and we got the 20th ranked one. Yahoo! Superbowl here we come.
rackemrack Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I think you mean WHEN he has to start 2-3 (or more) games per season. actually that is what i meant lol trent can't last a whole season
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Man, when I said I wanted the Bills to bring in a veteran QB to mentor Trent, I didn't mean with his algebra homework. Hey, Trent went to Stanford, he's a smart guy in his own rights. In fact, I think we now have the smartest QB tandem in the NFL. Take that "teams who have QBs who win games"! Our QBs can tell you what the main export of Uzbekistan is!
Turn Down For Watkins Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 I'm trying to be optimistic, but it is just getting so hard.
