CJPearl2 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 As Florio has reported, Lewis seems to be the odd-man-out in the LB free agent class. Put him in the middle here. I'd love him.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 There's 12 seconds of my life I'm not getting back.
CJPearl2 Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 I was serious. Tell me why that couldn't happen?
BuckyFillUps Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I was serious. Tell me why that couldn't happen? He's Ray Lewis abd this is the Buffalo Bills. Its really very simple.
Numark Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 One, becuase Lewis is an old thugged out player whose talent in question. Two, why would he want to come to Buffalo when he could get the same mount of money elsewhere. He wouldn't want to go anywhere other than at least a semi-contendor
CJPearl2 Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 He wants to get paid. Plain and simple.
CJPearl2 Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 Did you watch how slow and inept our LBs were last year? He's be perfect in the middle of a 4-3.
Anzaloha Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Did you watch how slow and inept our LBs were last year? He's be perfect in the middle of a 4-3. He is old, a thug, his best days are behind him, he has slowed considerably and for the money he would want, he is NOT worth it, you are foolish to think this would happen or would be a good fit.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Did you watch how slow and inept our LBs were last year? So he'd make us...slower?
CJPearl2 Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 Do you all really think that Poz is better than Ray Lewis? If so, keep drinking the kool-aid.
DanInUticaTampa Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Do you all really think that Poz is better than Ray Lewis? If so, keep drinking the kool-aid. they are about the same, and 1 is much cheaper than the other
lets_go_bills Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 He's a 3-4 LB. Not saying he couldn't man it in a 4-3, but we have Poz there. Lewis can still play but I don't wanna see us bring in a 34 year old as our key signee. Besides, Ray wouldn't come here, we suck. He'd rather play in a 3-4 and play for a competitor.
Guest dog14787 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Do you all really think that Poz is better than Ray Lewis? If so, keep drinking the kool-aid. Ray Lewis is exactly the type of player this ball club needs, Veteran leadership at its very best.
QB Bills Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 they are about the same, and 1 is much cheaper than the other That is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read on this message board. Unless you were joking. In that case, ha & ha
DanInUticaTampa Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 That is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read on this message board. Unless you were joking. In that case, ha & ha They are pretty much the same. Except one is old, one is young. They both are slow. The only reason lewis has more success is that he has a beast of a dline that plays in front of him. So lewis can get away with being slow. The only other good thing lewis has is that he is very.... inspirational for team spirit. Which i think Poz can bring. People buy his jersys and get excited for him for doing very little. And the team likes him.
CJPearl2 Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 Well if the team likes him then I'm good with Poz. Because Ralph and team being happy is my #1 priority. Nevermind winning.
