major Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 We need to sign Chris Simms. I can't imagine him being any worse than Fitzpatrick.

Major Mud Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 He hasn't played in 2 seasons. ....i personally would like to see a more established player signed as our backup....perhaps Leftwich, or even maybe a Kitna type of guy, someone who can also help TE learn while on the job.

There isnt a back up out their I want. You are looking at it the worng way we dont need someone who can teach trent we need someone that can win games went Trent is injured for 3-4 games next season as he has been the last two seasons.
Mr. WEO Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I would take Kitna over Leftwich. He may be a little goofy, but he's passionate. Byron seems always out of shape and and a pouter.
2003Contenders Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I think Simms is playing wait-and-see with what happens with Kerry Collins. The Titans supposedly really like Simms. If they can't get a deal worked out with Collins, they would be likely to pay him more than he could make anywhere else on the open market.
kota Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Simms expects to start Fitzpatrick won't. Their is your answer. Edwards is the starting QB for the forseable future.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 In what alternate universe does Chris Simms expect to start in the NFL in 2009?
DC Tom Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 In what alternate universe does Chris Simms expect to start in the NFL in 2009? I think it was a joke. At least, I hope it was a joke.

DDD Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I'd rather resign JP Losman and he's flat out horrible.
Albany,n.y. Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 In what alternate universe does Chris Simms expect to start in the NFL in 2009? The same universe that JP Losman will be starting for another team & lighting it up.
