bills-fan in arizona Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I heard a rumor from a reliable source that we had a very large offer out to him last night. Needless to say we are not even mentioned as one of the 4 teams in the hunt. so even IF this is true, it is very discouraging. You guys can chastize me all you want - just passing on some info that I got
pBills Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 That would be a very nice pick up. Especially if most mock-drafts are right and the Bills can land DE Aaron Maybin from Penn. State
BillsNYC Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 He would be my top choice, would take pressure off finding the perfect TE.

Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 He doesn't want to come here. As sad as it is, can you blame him? I mean, where is the incentive for a productive veteren like himself to go from losing in Cincy for years to a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a decade? Unless we put up the most green, or he sees the same potential in this team as some of us do, it just doesn't make sense for a player like TJ to be thrilled about coming here. Sad, but true IMO.
inkman Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 I heard a rumor from a reliable source... Aren't they all?
BuffaloPride Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Word out of Cincy is he's close to resigning. Give Bills props for trying.
inkman Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Word out of Cincy is he's close to resigning. Give Bills props for trying. Seems a little young...at least he has his health.
BuffaloPride Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Seems a little young...at least he has his health. sorry....re-signing
cantankerous Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 He's got a visit with Seattle scheduled for today I believe.
inkman Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 He's got a visit with Seattle scheduled for today I believe. Near home? I can't think of why else he would go there. There is that $$$, factor.
cantankerous Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Not really close to home for him... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TJ_Houshmandzadeh
Buftex Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 On ESPN last night, he said he wanted to go to a team with a good running game, and a good offensive line...he said those were the keys to success for any passing game. He seemed to be lobbying, a little to go to Minnesota.
