Jets sign Bart Scott

KD in CA

Unless he can play QB or WR they're still in a world of hurt.

They didn't have a QB last year and almost made the playoffs; beating the Bills twice in the process.

I didn't realize the Jets had so much cap room; and unlike Ralph, they will spend it.

Bart Scott reportedly is going to give the Ravens a chance to match the Jets' five-year, $40 million contract offer.

In an effort to break the story, many national sources said the deal was officially agreed to. But it was never signed and it now appears Scott is having second thoughts and wants to give Baltimore another shot. We don't see why Baltimore wouldn't match now, but it's no lock. We'll find out shortly. Feb. 27 - 2:57 pm et

The Baltimore Sun is reporting the Ravens have counter offered with a 5 year 42 mil contract and Scott is asking to be the centerpiece of the D.
