auburnbillsbacker Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Sage Rosenfels was aquired by the Vikings for a 4th round pick. He was then signed for about 4.5 million a year. He has looked good in limited playing time, and would make a great backup plan to Trent Edwards. I know 4.5 millin is a lot for a backup, but Edwards is still a mystery. Our 4th round pick is a better pick than the Viking's 4th. I think we should have pulled the trigger.
BuckyFillUps Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 .001% chance that he would be and improvement over the Israeli
basskik11 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 No, I'd rather have our 4th Round pick. agreed.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 .001% chance that he would be and improvement over the Israeli What are you talking about Bucky? Gibran Hamdan who's mother is Pakistani and who's Dad is Palestinian? Gibran grew up in Kuwait. Israeli? Well at least you're not President of the United States.
KD in CA Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 No, I'd rather have our 4th Round pick. And $4.5MM.

Well at least you're not President of the United States. He just doesn't like Jews and projects bad things on them
davefan66 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 2 years 9 million dollars??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Way to parlay a few good games into megabucks.
WVUFootball29 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Sage Rosenfels is one of the better backups in the game, but that is all he is, a backup. If you look at how he has performed as a starter over an extended period you will see he just can't get the job done, which is why he never held the starting gig in Miami or Houston. Personally, if we sign a backup, I want someone who can start and be effective over an extended amount of time due to Trent's injury history.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Damon Huard would be a nice, low cost guy.
