silvermike
Technically there is no negotiating allowed until 12:01 tonight. However, agents and GM's talk all the time. Yeah - but is it a leaguewide embargo, or just that teams have the right to file a tampering charge?
The Big Cat
You would be DISSAPOINTED if Garcia ever takes the field for the Bills. What are you basing your prognostication on?
nucci
Yeah - but is it a leaguewide embargo, or just that teams have the right to file a tampering charge? Yes it is and you would have a hard time proving tampering as all do it. Plus, you have plenty of time to sign your own FA's. If you haven't by now , you had no chance anyway. Lori
Something to point out: the last two times Garcia has taken the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium, in 2004 with the Browns and the '05 preseason with the Lions, he ended up with a broken leg each time. He may not be fond of our Astroplay. Just sayin'.

San Jose Bills Fan
Stacy Andrews Grade: 75 | Key This means the player is a good starter. Alert: None Birth Date June 2, 1981 Birth Place Camden, AR Height 6-7 Weight 342 lbs. Age 27 Position OT Experience 5 years College Mississippi Comment: Andrews is a massive lineman who is maturing at just the right time. He's tall and has long arms, huge hands and a thick torso. He began his career as a guard, but he came into his own at right tackle last season. He still can play either guard spot, but he has more value at tackle. He's young, got a late start in football and still has loads of upside. He's very powerful, with great upper- and lower-body strength. He's agile and nimble for a big guy, quick out of his stance and able to seal the edge. He has rare speed for his size and can be an effective downfield blocker. His technique needs more work, particularly his hand placement, blocking angles and recognition of stunts, twists and games. Andrews has been inconsistent during his short career, but he already is a very good right tackle and could develop into an elite player soon. He should be one of the premier free agents of 2008 (he was franchised). Fifth-year pro started at RT in Games 1-15 but suffered serious right knee injury in Game 15, Dec. 21 at Cleveland ... Suffered torn ACL and MCL, and underwent surgery on 1-7-09 .... Could be ready for some action in 2009 preseason .... Was Bengals designated franchise player in ’08, and eligible to become an unrestricted free agent on 2-27-09.

keepthefaith
pretty accurate deep pass? i'm not so sure about that one. It doesn't matter. Dick doesn't like to go deep. He probably sees Garcia as a 3rd string DB just in case.

shagmago
Signing Garcia would be a GREAT move! When Trent gets hurt its someone with experience who can avoid the rush from our speedbump o-line...believe me people believe!
The Jokeman
I read somewhere they franchised Andrews. My bad. He was franchised last year.
billsfreak
Stacy Andrews of the Bengals who has been franchised? So we are giving up 2 #1s..... Yeah right.. He was franchised last season not this season, and then he missed most of the season with an injury I believe. The Bengals actually tagged their kicker this year, Shane Graham who was so pitiful when he spent half a season with the Bills.
marauderswr80
Garcia would beat out Edwards for the starting role.
