Brandon
I'll believe it when I see it. Most likely, it'll be another round of 2nd and 3rd tier bums like they signed a few years ago.
BillsVet
He's saying free agency is starting, not that they're going to do anything specific. It's an article in advance of free agency, nothing more and nothing less.

SDS
The Bills are in position to address some needs on both sides of the ball, particularly offensive line, outside linebacker, tight end, backup quarterback, defensive line, safety and receiver. Running back also is a consideration with 11-year veteran Fred Taylor visiting Tuesday. HAHA! Maybe he should have listed the positions we don't need. bills_fan
Outside linebacker: Angelo Crowell won’t be back despite the Bills suggesting a return is possible. Keith Ellison may return but not as a starter. A possible target is Michael Boley, 26, a full-time starter in Atlanta for nearly four years before being replaced by former Bill Coy Wire on first and second downs late last season. Boley might be a better fit in the Bills’ system because he plays the run well, is a good blitzer and can drop into coverage. So, we can improve our defense by signing a guy who got replaced by Coy Wire for 1st and 2nd down? Please...no.

Alphadawg7
Shopping and actually buying are two distinctly different things. You guys do realize this isnt like a grocery store where there is a price, we agree to pay it, and we buy it. Regardless of what we offer or who we go after, those players still have to say yes. In fact, some will have places they already want to go and offers from those teams to go there, so they won't even come in for a visit. Its not like we get to just go out and buy something...there has to be mutual interest. So just because we dont sign someone doesnt mean we didnt go after them. Just like trading down...people get all mad about when we dont trade down as if its our choice to ignoring the fact someone has to be willing to give up value to trade UP to our spot... San Jose Bills Fan
By the way, typical Allen Wilson article. I reference a discussion we all had last week about the quality of writers at the Buffalo News. Once again there's no substance at all (compare to Chicago writer's musings on where Grossman might end up, he actually talked to people). In addition, Wilson got the salary cap wrong: It's been raised to $127 million, not $123 million. Now that isn't gonna really change things for the Bills one way or another but Journalism 101 is about who, what, when, where, why, how, and how much. If you're going to give us fluff at least get the facts straight. The only thing Wilson contributes that's worthy is his game film summary/breakdown after Bills games. People in the community are generally only as sophisticated in their knowledge as the guys who work at the local newspaper. Wilson doesn't set the bar terribly high. 2020 Our Year For Sure
Boley might be a better fit in the Bills system because he plays the run well, is a good blitzer and can drop into coverage. Wouldn't that make him a good fit in ANY system? What the hell else does a linebacker do?
