LabattBlue Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 So you're saying that he could bring in a better brand of Alpo for Jauron to sift through? I won't disagree with that opinion. Alpo shouldn't cost 7 mil per year.
Lori Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Alpo shouldn't cost 7 mil per year. Well, if you have enough mutts to feed ...
Poland Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 You can understand missing a fair amount in the draft, but there is no excuse for such a poor batting average in pro scouting. Stroud is good, but everyone knew Stroud was good - he was a pro-bowler. The only genuine good signings of a Free Agents I can think of in recent years are Stroud, Langston Walker, Chambers, and maybe Bryan Scott. Jury is still out on Mitchell and Spencer Johnson, but they're looking at least ok (but so was Dockery after one year). I don't think Stroud has had much impact at all. He was supposed to push the pocket to improve the pass rush.
spartacus Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 you guys do realize that our OL was better with the additions of Dockery and Walker. Although Dockery was overpaid, it is a testament to how terrible our OL was duing the TD years. you do realize that the crackerjack talent evaluator bringing in all that crappy OL talent under TD such as Tuten Reyes, Bennie Anderson, et al was John Guy Guy has been a disgrace for a decade
