ricojes Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Although I am a Catholic, I do not attend mass regularly. So I feel I would be a hypocrite if I gave up something for Lent. "Lord, I never attend mass, but I never eat meat on Friday's during Lent, is that good enough?"

Chef Jim Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 I would never be part of an organization that tells me what not to eat or drink or tells me that I have to give something up. Religion sucks.
BuffaloBill Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 ....an organization that tells me what not to eat or drink or tells me that I have to give something up. Youd could be describing the Federal Government .... what you give up is your freedom to make choices and live with the consequences of your decisions ... as they seem to want to do it for us ....
mcjeff215 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Sean Hannity For Lent? You don't need Lent to give him up. He makes my skin crawl.
rovey1961 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I am giving up watching the Bills play on Mondays/Thursdays/Saturdays and Sundays until preseason starts
