Tom Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 50th Anniversary Team Voting Pretty neat website
rackemrack Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 it was much better than i expected, i don't see many people voting for jason peters btw...
Huuuge Bills Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Defense isn't ready for voting yet but here is how I voted for the offense. QB: Jim Kelly. RB: Thurman Thomas. WR: Andre Reed, Eric Moulds, Elbert Dubenion. TE: Pete Metzelaars. O-Line: Rueben Brown, Joe DeLamielleure, Kent Hull, Jim Ritcher, Billy Shaw. That would be one hell of an offense.
BillsNYC Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Its sad that Frank Reich is on the list of best QBs....not many to pick from huh?
Chandler#81 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Defense isn't ready for voting yet but here is how I voted for the offense. QB: Jim Kelly. RB: Thurman Thomas. WR: Andre Reed, Eric Moulds, Elbert Dubenion. TE: Pete Metzelaars. O-Line: Rueben Brown, Joe DeLamielleure, Kent Hull, Jim Ritcher, Billy Shaw. That would be one hell of an offense. Mine was pretty close. You listed 4 guards. I went Hull, Joe D, Shaw, Wolford and -yes, J. Peters. I went with Ernie Warlick at TE and substituted Moulds with -well.. guess!
Beerball Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Should have been able to choose 2 RBs, other than that well done.
SouthernMan Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 QB: Kelly (gee, I wonder if he'll make the team - duh!) RBs: Thurman, Cookie (obvious snub of you know who) TE: Metzellars (kinda stupid the way the voting lumped all the lineman together) Tackles: Ken Jones, Wolford (maybe House would be better choice, but he jumped to Seattle for the money. Hey wait a minute, didn't Wolford do the same when the Colts exposed a flaw in the way free agency worked?) Turncoats! Sorry, but Peters lack of experience, compounded by his greedy holdout last season made him ineligible in my book. Guards: Shaw, Joe D. (another no-brainer) Center: Hull (ditto) WRs: Chandler, Butler, Reed (Lofton, not enough tenure. Can be on one of GreenBays anniv. teams) STs: Tasker, Pike, Christie, Moorman (sorry Paul, maybe Empire Sports will have a Budweiser anniverary team)
