brambills Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Looks like the new logo is available at the proshop: http://www.buffalobillsproshop.com/
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Looks like the new logo is available at the proshop: http://www.buffalobillsproshop.com/ Thanks for posting. Don't like it. I'd prefer an old school motif. Pretty weak if you ask me.
sullim4 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 $40 for a T-shirt?!? http://www.buffalobillsproshop.com/main_de...ro%20Navy%20Tee Do they take us for fools?
NobesBLO13 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I love our current logo, but the standing buffalo is pretty funny because the image clearly shows that the bison is male if you catch my drift...
Bullpen Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Looks like the new logo is available at the proshop: http://www.buffalobillsproshop.com/ Dean's gonna love this... Not only did they NOT get rid of the ribbon, they made it an integral part of the 50th anniversary logo! Sorry Dean, I have to laugh at that just a bit. Not a big fan of it either... they could have done so much better.
dib Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Looks like the new logo is available at the proshop: http://www.buffalobillsproshop.com/ thats it?
Lv-Bills Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 It's amazing to me how much they always miss the boat on being able to do something cool. I mean, it's just a one year logo/patch, but it could be so much cooler than it is. From the current god awful uniforms to this. Is it any wonder? I swear they put interns on these projects. Who in the hell is gonna buy that stuff?
UConn James Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 As I've written before, Ralph is not going to make wholesale changes with this franchise. No talk of a new stadium, no naming rights deal, not even a full-time uniform change to the throwbacks which they already have (it would necessitate changing all signage, letterheads, business cards, the field logo...). This is for same reason why people in their 90s generally don't fix their houses beyond simple knick-knacks and emergency repairs. Why bother, just to have the new people come in and change everything themselves. Ralph is waiting to die.
Captain Quint Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 "...so basically it's 37.50 for a Three Musketeer's bar?"
RayFinkle Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 So they're going to wear the same sh-tty uniforms all season, but just attach a shoulder patch? Who did they consult for this piece of marketing genius?
Guffalo Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Looks like Labatts 50 helped design the logo
The Senator Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Looks like the new logo is available at the proshop: http://www.buffalobillsproshop.com/ wow that sucks so bad but really, why spend $$$ on a fancy logo to celebrate 50 years, in a season when you're probably going 3-13, maybe 4-12 at best?
Hazed and Amuzed Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Does anyone else feel like the Bills are just !@#$ing with us at this point?
The Senator Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Does anyone else feel like the Bills are just !@#$ing with us at this point? I think in this case it was probably more of a, "Why bother, when no one is gonna buy this schitt anyway?)
Cookiemonster Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 wow that sucks so bad but really, why spend $$$ on a fancy logo to celebrate 50 years, in a season when you're probably going 3-13, maybe 4-12 at best? Hey Senator, Your enthusiasm is bursting!
TheLynchTrain Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the bills embarrassed themselves more here than the Mets did last month with their inaugural stadium patch aka "Dominoes patch." This looks like something they did in a graphic art 101 class, not from an ad agency. Wait a sec, I'm sure they wouldnt spend on outside contractors...Ralph's daughter probably had her hand in this too...

KRC Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 KRC, thanks for info and the link. Is that really the original logo? Seems so cartoonish and odd for a sports team. As Lori mentioned, it was normal for the time frame. Keep in mind that the logos did not appear on the uniforms. You just saw them in the media guides, programs and other items.
EndZoneCrew Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 $40 for a T-shirt?!?Do they take us for fools? Seriously!!!!! Anyways.....I just ordered 3 XXL's
