Sad http://www.mcall.com/topic/bal-frerotte0612,0,3974477.story http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/369046.html RIP Mitch It seems that the life expectancy of a lineman is not long these days.
Frez Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I really liked the guy. Sad http://www.mcall.com/topic/bal-frerotte0612,0,3974477.story http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/369046.html RIP Makes you wonder what the autopsy results will reveal?
Bullpen Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Wow, Brad Van Pelt and Mitch a day apart... RIP Mitch, thoughts and prayers with your family.
Cornerville Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I really liked the guy. Sad http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/369046.html Sad indeed, but wasn't this back in June?
Albany,n.y. Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Sad indeed, but wasn't this back in June? In other news, Mitch Frerotte is still dead.
DIE HARD 1967 Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 I didn't know about it and if he died earlier, its still sad. The two articles I saw had 2/19/09 I guess I got suckered!
Bullpen Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Me too I guess. Quick let's delete this thread so we don't look like dummies!!!
Lori Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I didn't know about it and if he died earlier, its still sad. The two articles I saw had 2/19/09 I guess I got suckered! The linked stories were from June 12 and 13, 2008. In fact, I'm surprised the one from the BuffNews isn't long gone off their Web site. And for those who might be wondering, following page upon page of steroids accusations here and elsewhere, the truth came out shortly after his death: Frerotte's family has a history of early-onset heart disease.
DC Tom Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 And for those who might be wondering, following page upon page of steroids accusations here and elsewhere, the truth came out shortly after his death: Frerotte's family has a history of early-onset heart disease. Wow. A whole family on steroids?
spartacus Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Wow. A whole family on steroids? no way he played for the Bills and Bills don't take performance enhancing drugs -at least I haven't seen any enhanced performances in the last 10 years anyway
Trader Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I really liked the guy. Sad http://www.mcall.com/topic/bal-frerotte0612,0,3974477.story http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/369046.html The NFL needs to have a serious look at the health of it's players.
spartacus Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 The NFL needs to have a serious look at the health of it's players. The NFLPA is too busy with inflating rookie salaries to worry about health related issues and playing conditions. They can't even support their own retired members
RayFinkle Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 I really liked the guy. Sad http://www.mcall.com/topic/bal-frerotte0612,0,3974477.story http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/369046.html Original thread from when he actually passed in June...
3 left feet Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 RIP Makes you wonder what the autopsy results will reveal? What's that supposed to mean? Did you read where hid family has a history of heart conditions? Ugh
Lori Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Original thread from when he actually passed in June... And anyone who reads the first page of that thread will know why I have absolutely no tolerance for jokes about Mitch's death. Tread carefully.
