DC Tom Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7895123.stm Seven tons of unexploded munitions have gone missing in Gaza, before United Nations experts were able to dispose of them safely... [...] Israel has accused Hamas of taking the stockpile, which was under Hamas guard. Don't know if the Israeli accusation is true or not. Don't really care, either. Putting explosives under the "guard" of people who need and use explosives is incredibly stupid, even by UN standards.

With any luck, those explosives will be remote controlled and soon there will be a few less Hamas terrorists on this earthly veil.
Chump Change Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 With any luck, those explosives will be remote controlled and soon there will be a few less Hamas terrorists on this earthly veil. Unfortunately, they will likely be remotely detonated- as IED's against Israeli's.

blzrul Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I expect any time now Dick Cheney will claim that THOSE are Saddam's WMDs
DC Tom Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 I expect any time now Dick Cheney will claim that THOSE are Saddam's WMDs <<Insert ridiculous and unrelated reference to Clinton getting a blow job from a fat chick here.>>
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 That's dumber than letting Oprah guard your twinkies!
IDBillzFan Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 <<Insert ridiculous and unrelated reference to Clinton getting a blow job from a fat chick here.>> Clinton would have never gotten that blowjob if the first Bush didn't screw up the economy, which is how Clinton ended up in the White House with an intern bobbing his knob under his desk. It was Bush's fault.</blzrul>
Clinton, Bill Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 <<Insert ridiculous and unrelated reference to Clinton getting a blow job from a fat chick here.>> Sigh. Good times. *sniff.* Good times.

It was Bush's fault.</blzrul> That first Bush was smart enough not to further damage the economy by staying OUT of Iraq. He actually had a decent presidency, like him or not.
KD in CA Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 That first Bush was smart enough not to further damage the economy by staying OUT of Iraq. He actually had a decent presidency, like him or not. And he fixed the economy before leaving office. Very underrated Presidency.
Adam Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 And he fixed the economy before leaving office. Very underrated Presidency. If he hadn't gone back on his promise of not raising taxes, things might have gotten bad a lot sooner
OCinBuffalo Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Hmm. What if it's all a sham? As in, the CIA and/or Mussad knew damn well that they would be stolen, and tagged them all with NSA-type RFIDs, so that they could track the movements of the bad guys. If you wanted to find out which house/store was being used for terror purposes, the best way would be to track the explosives. And, if you know where they are, you can get to them BEFORE the idiots set them off. And, why wouldn't the idiots use "free" explosives? Better to have them using "your" explosives than their own. Right?

blzrul Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Even active RFIDs don't have unlimited range. You'd have to have a reader within some reasonable distance. And the batteries don't last forever.

Right? You are giving them waaaayyyy too much credit for smarts. Common sense doesn't run rampant through our government.

/dev/null Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Asking Hamas to guard explosives and being surprised the explosives end up missing is about as intelligent as asking Meazza to babysit your 14 year old daughter and wondering why she ends up pregnant

And yes, this time, that is directed at you.
