New Cowboys stadium will not have a corporate sponsor

i know it is awesome.....jerry jones was harping real bad on paul brown(owner of the bengals)that jerry would offer to pay 5 million for the right to name his stadium.......the jist was ralph wilson and paul brown dont do enough to help their small market status because they dont get corporate naming rights to their stadiums............jerry wouldnt let it go.....now he dosnt even have one.......he thought for sure he would get 20 million a year for the naming rights.........go bills in"2012

In today's economy, it might not make much sense for a company to give Jerry millions on one hand and lay off thousands of workers with the other. Just saying. All the signs have to cost something...

I agree that it doesn't make sense to give him the $20M/year he's looking for. But someone is sure to offer even just half of that amount, and according to his words to Ralph, he should just take it. Texas Stadium has been unnamed since he's owned the Cowboys (1989), whereas RWS was Rich Stadium until 1998.
