Different states have different laws. In NY you can't get a DUI on a muscular powered vehicle, but you can get charged with other offenses. Not sure if that is the case in Ohio or not, but my friend in WV had a neighbor get arrested for DUI on a horse.

Was he doinking the cop's wife? Hard to imagine how this scenario played out .. was the horse intoxicated? Wow ... who gives a crap if you are riding drunk?

People have been arrested for driving riding mowers while drunk. Horses too I think (probably other farm animals we shouldn't mention).

Lawn mowers are technically motor vehicles by NYS law when operated on the road. A horse is muscular power and wouldn't count in NY. BTW he was riding his horse through the, I guess you would call it downtown area of this minuscule little town and I guess was causing a traffic hazard in case a car did drive by
