duey Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 Same goes for Jacksonville. We beat our selves in both games. Should be 4-2...not 2-4.
Fezmid Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 How did we lose to the Raiders? Let's see... TKO getting tackled in the endzone, but no safety being called. Henry getting into the endzone, but no TD being called. Clements getting a huge punt return (kinda like today!) but a ref calling a phantom hold. Milloy was hurt, which allowed a deep pass on 3rd and long... I think there were a couple others as well. The zebras beat us just as much as we beat ourselves. CW
nodnarb Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 we lost to the raiders because the line didn't block AND Drew played horribly. he missed open receivers, didn't see the action, and was generally pathetic. oh and the refs called back two great returns on phantom penalties that they later apologized for. that's how. but i know whatcha mean. SD isn't supposed to be that good, and look what they're doing. Brees looks like the second coming of manning.

njsue Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 Before the bills learned there winning attitude.
Guest Pariah Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 Uhh... The Raiders had Rich Gannon at the time, and he made Drew Bledsoe look like the washed up veteran that he is. Even though Gannon is seven years older. Since Gannon is gone, EVERYBODY beats the Raiders.
Duke Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 San Diego is playing incredible on offense now as well though. LaDanian is one of the top 3 running backs and Brees seems to be back on track after an off year.
The Jokeman Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Brees seems to be back on track after an off year. 93633[/snapback] That or the drafting of Phillip Rivers put the perverbial fire up his butt.
