I would prefer they re-sign Peters to a better contract which he does deserve. Walker is a solid starting RT. Kurt Chambers needs to be re-signed for he played well last year. I love the potential of Detriemus Bell. He could even play guard. He has great feet and moves well for a big man. He needed to gain strength badly last season. He really got pushed around a lot by linebackers. He has what is needed most in a O-lineman. That is desire and heart. He has proven that. He, as of last year had very little experience. Hopefully this off season he has his body weight up from 300 lbs last year. He has natural quickness for a big man and showed that last year. We will not know till training camp how much he has improved, but the coaches say he is loaded with raw talent. He will make the 4th offensive tackle the Bills need on the active roster. DreamOnDan
I think the bills could use an upgrade at C. I also think that Brad Butler is smart enough and has perfict size to play C on this line. So I'd love to see us let Fowler walk and sign another mammoth OL to play RG or move Walker to RG and sign a experienced OT Like Tra Thomas to play RT Khalif Barnes would be sufficient. In this case you'd be supplying the stop gap for Bell maturing and learning the offense with either a player with 2-3 really good years left with Thomas or replacing Walker in 3 years with Bell, in the case of Barnes signing... C looks really deep this year in the draft with even the 5th best Shipley an upgrade and he can be had in rd 4-

DreamOnDan
Brad Butler is like 6'8. Not sure why you gotta add an inch to his height... What does that mean anyways? We have the biggest line in the NFL. Why have a small center? He's also like 315 lbs.

Why have a small center? He's also like 315 lbs. Because NT's are normally a lot more stout and having a lower center of gravity is pretty important for a center. A guy that is 6'8 is not great because once he stands up the QB wiull have a problem looking over the middles of the field.

Butler is anything but a low COG guy, and might even be too upright for an OG, although his movement skills make up for his lack of a bubble....
