BillsCelticsAngelsBama Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ys-d...o&type=lgns Awesome!! Everette Brown is a man amongst boys
Turn Down For Watkins Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Kind of surprised that Aaron Curry is still on the board at pick 12
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 This new post with the mock draft is good food for thought and references a damn good thread from earlier today; http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=82377 As was suggested in the other thread, the quarterbacks are indeed the dark horses. This Yahoo mock draft has QBs Matthew Stafford going at #3 to Kansas City and Mark Sanchez at #10 going to San Francisco. I hope they're right. It would make it a lot more possible that a real blue chip reaches us at #11. Those picks are very similar situations because Tyler Thigpen at KC and Shaun Hill at SF both showed quite a bit this year. Those teams might decide that they're good enough at QB to look elsewhere in the draft. Even if they don't view their present QBs as the ultimate answer, they might decide that they're good enough to go forward with until next year or the year after. So anyways, those are key picks in this year's draft.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 A few more interesting things about this mock: Detroit at #1 may be in the market for a quarterback although they have the Lions taking OT Andre Smith. Seems you can make just as good a case for Detroit taking a QB than Kansas City or San Francisco. The mock has us taking Rice TE James Casey in the second round while passing up board favorites Chase Coffman, Alex Mack, and Max Unger. Well NFL teams are tagging players now (Cassell was franchised by NE today), Monday (Feb 9th) is the first day that NFL teams can cut players under contract for salary cap purposes, and the combine is later this month. Things are heating up baby
marauderswr80 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I dont think Curry gets past Buffalo if he is on the boards.
Huuuge Bills Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 If the draft goes anything like that, I'd love Curry/Brown in the first and Mack in the second round.
3 left feet Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I like this mock, not sure about curry lasting til 12 though...Pat white to the phins in the 2nd is an interesting prediction.
