The Jokeman Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 That was a great episode. I loved it when the cat got thrown up into the ceiling. The actor who plays Dwight had a part on "Six Feet Under" for a few years. Yeah and Arthur was an odd character too but at least Dwight's a bit more social.
Buftex Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I have to admit, I have never wathced the American Office, live, but have now seen the first 4 seasons on DVD. I was one of those too stuck up to give it a chance, because I absolutely loved the British version. I also happened to see the episode after the Super Bowl, and yes, I thouhgt it was really funny. If I have one, albeit small, complaint, is that I get sort of tired of the Jim/Pam thing... I don't mind either character, but their romance (and now I see they got married) is just not very compelling, and doesn't provide a lot of humor to the show. Is it just me? I was also glad to see Toby back. Last episode I saw on DVD, was his departure. Michaels' loathing for him is one of my favorite on-going bits... I share a similar "love" for HR folks...
puente Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 How about Dwight as Hannibal Lechter? I almost had a heart attack of laughter,..............that was good stuff

No it's not just you, I felt the relationship of Dwight and Angela was better then Jim and Pam's.
Buftex Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 No it's not just you, I felt the relationship of Dwight and Angela was better then Jim and Pam's. Man, Dwight is the obvious favorite, but the Angela and Kim (the Indian chick, IIRC, having a brain freeze!) characters are awesome. Jim and Pam are just a little "too real" to be very interesting, at least as a couple...

buckeyemike Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Did you notice that Ryan has not been around recently? He is supposed to come back sometime in March with a "physical change", according to B.J. Novak, the actor who plays Ryan (and the writer of a number of Office episodes). Remember, he mentioned to Kelly that he was going to Thailand with some friends. My guess is as follows: Physical change + Thailand = SRS. In other words, I think it means that Ryan's getting a sex change operation. :w00t:
Buftex Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Did you mean Kelly? Yeah, Kelly...sorry...I think she is damn funny...that character reminds me of a few people I have worked with over the years...
