Very nice list, even though rivals ranked them 118th in this years class. It's nice to have an interest in recruiting after all these years, here is the site in which I have been following the recruits...

Here are some more possible commits. These were reported in the recruits hometown newspapers. Tune into signing day tonight for the official word. See link for live webstream starting at 5:45pm today.

Jeffvon Gill, RB, Euclid OH (yes, a distant relative of Coach Gill)

Jamaal Ali, TE-LB, Garfield Heights OH

Jibrille Fewell, DE, Rock Hill SC (any relation to Perry?)

Khalil Mack, LB, Ft. Pierce FL (switched from Liberty U to UB)

Branden Oliver, RB, Miami FL Southridge

Peter Gagliardi, TE, Miami FL Sunset

How easy do you think it is to get Florida kids to play for UB? They must think playing for Turner Gill is worth it. As for class rankings, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Sites like Rivals only pay attention to big schools. With mid-majors they are just guessing. First-team All-MAC S Davonte Shannon was unranked and unheralded when UB recruited him.

I'll start taking notice when UB is able to recruit some 3 star players. This is not uncommon among MAC schools. I am not talking about all 3 star recruits but one or two per year should not be out of the realm of possibility.

That list is badly out of date. ESPN's list is better.

Time to start taking notice!!!

From the Buffalo News:

Gill noted that middle linebacker Matt Jones from Rochester — the only three-star recruit rated by rivals.com — and Miami's Rick Perez — one of the top 15 centers in the country — could have an immediate impact as well.
