RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 They were blown out..The Cowboys went to a prevent..Throw the stats away... Although I agree with many of your earlier points, you are wrong here on the facts. Andre racked up big yards in the first half of that game, when it was still in doubt. Down 14-7, he took quick passes (one from Kelly, one from Reich) down deep into the red zone with YAC, but the Bills ended up with a 4th-down Kelly interception in the end zone on the first drive, and had to settle for a figgie the second time (after Beebe dropped a TD pass on an earlier down. What really sucks about that 52-17 debacle is that it was so close at first that one or two plays (Kelly's interception on first down near midfield when they were already up 7-0 and driving again comes to mind as well) would have made a huge difference. It is odd, I know, to say that about a game that ended up so incredibly lopsided. Then with about 5 minutes to go in the second quarter, it all fell apart, and rolled down into the second half crapfest that is seared into our memories.
