The Dean Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 that career builder one wasn't horribly bad One of the best, of a bad lot, so far.
Ralonzo Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 9:00 #1) Full bottles of Coke float? Wow, this was ghey. #2) Frosted Flakes, yawn. #3) Celebrities (I suppose) pimping Conan. Who cares.
The Dean Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Conan, the biggest joke killer since Colin Quinn.
Ralonzo Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Conan, the biggest joke killer since Colin Quinn. Now that you mention it the resemblance is scary. Could Colin be Conan's... mom?
crazyDingo Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 So, is Coke a pesticide or did I miss something?
Ralonzo Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 9:05 End of 3rd Q, it's attack of the local affiliate revenue spots... here's what I got. #1) NFL.com: Some guy named Usama, terrorizing quarterbacks. And my attention span. #2) It's The Jesus babbling gibberish after drinking a Heineken. I guess that's an endorsement. #3) Commiecast internet with turtles. Horrid. #4) Giant Supermarket appealing to the organic granola crowd.

The Dean Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 #3 here- the Comcast ad with a rabbit. #4 Jack (of Jack in the Box) hit by a bus. There are a few local, or regional, spots mixed in, it seems.
Ralonzo Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 9:11 More local spots? #1) NBC reprised the error in physics by that blonde ditz. #2) Cox communication. #3) Acura. I don't care what anyone says, a 7.62 round going into the mouth of a whiskey bottle and exploding out the back in ultra-slo-mo cannot be uncool. #4) NBC Celebrity apprentice with a mummified Joan Rivers and a career-mummified Andrew Dice Clay.
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I saw what looked like a local McDonald's spot here.
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 New favorite! The Coke Zero remake of the Mean Joe Greene ad.
Ralonzo Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 9:16 #1) Hyundai is really buying the spots up this year. #2) Coke Zero reprises the Joe Greene spot. Pretty lame actually. This will make the bottom-5 list, I think. #3) Cash4gold.com? If you don't have Ed McMahon in a Dead Pool, consider it. #4) NBC Medium, a show whose name grossly overrates our collective interest in it.
Wacka Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I think it's local- Cash4gold with Ed McMahon and MC Hammer! MC Hammer- My gold records, my gold medallion of me wearing a gold medallion! Ed McMahon- my gold hip replacement!
jwws9999 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 New favorite! The Coke Zero remake of the Mean Joe Greene ad. I liked the monster.com ad the best, he definitely needed a new job
The Dean Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I liked the monster.com ad the best, he definitely needed a new job Career builder, maybe?
Ralonzo Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 9:22 #1) Vizio has money for advertisements? Thanks for showing us that pattern test for 30 seconds though. #2) Taco Bell enchiladas. I don't care enough to try to "get it" #3) GE. Some sort of nightmare Tin Man magically dancing on transformers without blacking out the entire Northeast. Lotsa of kids are gonna wake up screaming tonight.
jwws9999 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Career builder, maybe? the monster one where he gets to stare at the back end of the moose all day
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Hulu. An evil plot to destroy the world. Enjoy.
Ralonzo Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 9:26 It's a ball game again #1) Hulu.com. It's Alec Baldwin. Yes, you want to turn people's brains to mush so they vote Democrat, I get it. I know what you are, Alec #2) NBC. That dumb Heroes dancing ad again.
The Dean Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 the monster one where he gets to stare at the back end of the moose all day Ah...missed it.
