Force_Majeur Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Mike Holgren is nodding his head, he knows this scenario...
vincec Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Drank a lot tonight, I see. LOL. That's how the best ideas are born!
Tcali Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 that's one of the benefits of AZ not winning...friggin Leinart won't schlep his way into a ring. hehe--very true.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Did anyone notice the az defender seemed to pull his arm back a little on the holmes TD? Like he thought it was going ob. with the new rule should have slammed him OB
The Dean Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 LOL. That's how the best ideas are born! i can't argue with that
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Hell, I finished two Mooseheads and called my ex-college roommate. He's a Steelers fan. Crap. I gotta live with his ribbing for a year.
RayFinkle Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Arizona's secondary is putrid. Their kick returner is sub-par too. McGee plus a draft pick for Boldin???? This post deserves it own thread. You should start one.
zow2 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I mean c'mon. You gotta give it up to Ben R. How many times has he led late 4th Qtr comeback victories? People just assume Pittsburgh has a great O-line this year but they don't. They are very average to below. Ben just makes them look much better than they were by extending the play and making some great throws. That game winner just shows that a great NFL QB can consistently get the ball to his WR in tight coverage. I'm not a STeelers fan but i gotta had it to BEn R and that tough defense of theirs.
Force_Majeur Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Hell, I finished two Mooseheads and called my ex-college roommate. He's a Steelers fan. Crap. I gotta live with his ribbing for a year. Tell him no matter what happens, the refs turned in the best performance for the Steelers in this game
/dev/null Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Gotta love the NFL's marketing department Game's barely over and already they have a commercial hawking Steeler Super Bowl Champ gear
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Uh-oh...Joe Namath's presenting the trophy. Someone keep Suzy Kolber away!!
Tcali Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Tell him no matter what happens, the refs turned in the best performance for the Steelers in this game They handed the Steelers the game.. Just kidding people
Simon Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Tell him no matter what happens, the refs turned in the best performance for the Steelers in this game But then he'd sound like the rest of the officiating crybabies.
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Nope. The officiating was bad, but the Steelers came back and won this one.
Tcali Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Nope. The officiating was bad, but the Steelers came back and won this one. The Steelers deserved the win......but the officials were waaay too involved in this game. Shoulda let'em play.
The Dean Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 This post deserves it own thread. You should start one. You notice that Skooby had one stupid comment to make, and had to start his own thread to do it.
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 The Steelers deserved the win......but the officials were waaay too involved in this game. Shoulda let'em play. It was a chippy game. Very chippy. Arizona's gotta work on their pass defense. It cost them the game.
