Seriously, what a load of crap. You invest like $ 25 grand 45 years ago, milk the success of the NFL for all that time,

have one of the worst franchises in the NFL if you take out Super Bowl run, and as a final slap in the face to fans, sell

a game to Toronto, refuse to sell the team, and basically tell everyone your good with continued playoff absence, and

aren't making any changes because you're already done.

Thanks to Bill Polian for the only real success the Bills experienced.

So you are saying that if it was'nt for the Super Bowl run, Ralph Wilson would have no business of being in the Hall of Fame?

Then does the same apply to Lamar Hunt? The Kansas City Chiefs have gone to a grand total of 2 Super Bowls, winning one and losing one. While winning a Super Bowl is a major accomplishment, just what did Hunt do during the rest of the 70's, 80's, & 90's to make the Chiefs champions?

What Hunt did for the AFL & the NFL is what put him in the HOF, not just the success of his team, or lack there of, and it's because of Wilson's contributions to the AFL & NFL that are why he is going to the HOF.

First of all, yes he would be.

Second, if you took away all Brady's super bowl runs, Elway's arm, OJ's legs and Rice's stats, would they be in the HOF?

For the billionth time, owners are enshrined for contributions to the game, not success of their teams. Super Bowls have zero to do with it. Ralph's contributions are legendary, so stop the ignorant posts.

I seem to be remembering 1980 and 1981. Then there as 1964, 1965 and 1966.....maybe Bill Polian went back into the past in his time machine and was the secret GM of those teams. Thanks again, Bill, for those years.

The solution to that is pretty simple.....don't pay. Don't follow the team.

Professional football is for entertainment purposes only. If you aren't enjoying it, why follow it?

Anybody willing to defend Ralph Wilson on Superbowl Sunday following a 3rd 7-9 Season when he retains a very unpopular Head coach is like defending the President of the United States for a tax increase during the depression.

Too bad he wasn't selected after the 4th Superbowl.

Lets face it guys, the timing sux

True. Because the HOF is all about what you did for your team last month.

Without a doubt...again...without Wilson, the NFL does not exist as we know it today. He loaned substantial amounts of money to the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots in theAFL to keep them alive, which were key franchises. We are not talking about $5,000 either...we are talking like $400,000 to Al Davis alone, with no guarantee he would ever be able to recoup his money---I mean after all, its not like football was making that kind of money back then. Al Davis of the Raiders became commissioner and was the driving force between the AFL-NFL merger. Without Wilson, Davis would have been gone from the AFL, or at the very least not in any position to do what he did...Wilson basically ensured the NFL exists as it does today, which is no small feat and with that has done more than 95% of other owners will ever do to help their sport...
