KD in CA
What are your favorite theatrical movie lines that get edited for content when shown on TV? I was watching Die Hard With A Vengence, and at the end Bruce Willis' classic line was edited to: Yippie Kay Yay My Friend I thought it was "Yippie Kay Yay Mr. Falcon"? Or was that Die Hard 2? When I become Emperor, that practice will be outlawed. If you need to edit out a word, just blank it out. Coming up with these stupid substitutions in terrible voices that don't match the orignial actors is just painful. Ever watch Pulp Fiction on basic cable? Ever watch Pulp Fiction on basic cable? Ever watch a Kevin Smith movie on TV? Jay's real voice isn't heard throughout the entire movie.
DC Tom
The all-time great is in Lethal Weapon 4, when in the televised version Mel Gibson calls Jet Li "poopy pants".

buffaloboyinATL
The one I always remember when I was younger was in Smokey and the Bandit. When Buford T Justice says "I'm gonna Barbeque your ass in molasses", one of his funniest out of many funny lines, they poorly edited it to say "head" instead of ass. Stood out like a sore thumb. buckeyemike
My favorite one ever is from Major League. When Roger Dorn goes to the mound in the playoff game, supposedly to confront Wild Thing about sleeping with his wife, Dorn says to the pitcher, "strike this m-----f----- out." In the edited version, he says "strike this guy out". What's funny is it sounds like three different people dubbed it. Dorn on the words "strike" and "out", another person on "this" and still another on "guy". Cracks me up every time I see it.
