jax bill backer Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Wow. Another thread on Wilson selling the Bills!! When will you people get it that he is not going to sell the team while he is alive. If he was going to do it , it would have been done many years ago. when he is alive is the key word
jax bill backer Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 ...Like Baltimore and Cleveland? umm ur the one who is drunk baltimore and cleveland got there teams back... we would never get another team if the bills moved
WVUFootball29 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 umm ur the one who is drunk baltimore and cleveland got there teams back... we would never get another team if the bills moved So, who in Toronto is going to buy them? Rogers is dead.
TheLynchTrain Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 A combination of both is definitely a possibility. I was also considering inbreeding. he is from jacksonville
Flbillsfan#1 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Yes you are correct kinda....... Jacksonville is a rapidly growing city and has a stable economy.. The reason why the super bowl will be here again because the NFL loves to see a small city like jacksonville put on a super bowl.. and by the time we get another super bowl we will deff have enough hotels and night life..... And for LA,Besides the differences in population, jacksonville and LA are the same type of football city... There both college crazy.. they dont care about NFL because they already have proffesional teams... Univ of Florida, and USC... I went to the same high school as team tebow so when a local kid is playing football on saturday(this goes for LA to) they would rather go see a game on saturday than sunday...... and really who has the time to see two games in two days I don't see Jax getting another Super Bowl unless the team is sold & stays in Jax, then the NFL may put one there to throw a bone to the new owner. Aside from that, I think the team will move well before Jax gets enough rooms & Nightlife/Resturants to lure the NFL to give Jax another Super Bowl, as you said Jax is more a college town & DOESN'T support the Jags at all. Aside from college Jax has to compete with Miami for fans, I know MOST people in Orlando are PIZZED they get JAX rather than Miami on TV (when Jax has AWAY games because they don't sell out to be televised for home games).
jax bill backer Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 So, who in Toronto is going to buy them? Rogers is dead. haa ur u smoking crack... u think just because rogers is dead that it rules the bills out of toronto... there are people in his company that have just as much money as him...not to mention the other billion bussiness men in toronto that r willing to throw down.... u actually think kelly is going to buy the team.... him and who else!!!!!!! golisano...what a joke dude
VOR Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 The Jaguars are THE next NFL team to move. Book it. Forget the "super bowl city" talk, the one they hosted was a debacle and they will NEVER get another one again. Tony Kornheiser speaks
nucci Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 when he is alive is the key word You are really not making sense. What exactly is the key word? Again, the team won't be sold WHILE he is alive so how can he be getting the team ready to sell?

It is a college town and fan support there is tepid. At the same time Buffalo has a long uphill climb to retain the Bills. If population keeps declining it is only a matter of time before it happens.
Jim in Anchorage Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Yeah this thread was red meat-but it made me think-it seems like I remember 2010 being a year of 0% cap gains. Did I dream this? Input.
Flbillsfan#1 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 haaaaaaaaaaaaaa r u kindding me look at the date on there 2005 ....jacksonville is safe dude i promise they are not going anywhere... What about Jax has changed between 05 when that column was written & now..........NOTHING

DDD Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Be nice, people, it's his first post. Welcome to the board, jax. It was his 11th post not his first which makes it all the ridiculous
Steve In Atlanta 2008 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 This is my first time posting on TBD ivnoticed that people having been stating reasons why ralph kept DJ. I hear things like that ralph was to cheap, or were wating for 2010 to get one of these super bowl coaches. The real reason could not be more obivious. Ralph Wilson is ready to sell the team and move it to toronto. He does not care about the bills, or there talent he just wants to end it. He figures that his best shot to win a super bowl was in the 90's, and now he sees no shot. Also, as much as a hate the jags.... There are not moving anywhere and they will never move.... because its super bowl city...as with New orleans Actually, this has been talked about months ago but ill repeat it. The REAL reason Ralphy kept Jauron was because of the $$$ involved with replacing him. Ralph made the mistake of giving DICK an extention at 5-1 and then it was too late. It would have cost ralph $10M to eat the contracts of Jauron and staff and rehire a netw coach and staff PER YEAR! NEVER NERVER NEVER NERVER NEVER NERVER Gonna happen... NEVER... PS. Jacksonville sucks. Stadium sucks and all the florida Mullet people suck..
