jax bill backer Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 This is my first time posting on TBD ivnoticed that people having been stating reasons why ralph kept DJ. I hear things like that ralph was to cheap, or were wating for 2010 to get one of these super bowl coaches. The real reason could not be more obivious. Ralph Wilson is ready to sell the team and move it to toronto. He does not care about the bills, or there talent he just wants to end it. He figures that his best shot to win a super bowl was in the 90's, and now he sees no shot. Also, as much as a hate the jags.... There are not moving anywhere and they will never move.... because its super bowl city...as with New orleans

One simple question, since they already extended DJ and he did get us back to 7-9, what should we have done with the 3 years we owed him? I cannot remember extending a coach 3 years and firing him the same season, that would of been a first. A embarrasing first and no way it was going to happen. We're in a recession, this team is going nowhere.

What is going on, we are getting a lot of new posters on this board recently. Anyway, to your point, were you in Jax when they had the Superbowl there? It was a DISASTER, they did not have anywhere near enough hotel rooms & had to bring in Cruise ships for people to stay in. Also the nightlife/ # of GOOD resturants in JVille SUCKS. The NFL does not NEED Jax for the Super Bowl, Tampa & Miami are both GREAT Super Bowl cities. LA was a GREAT local for the Super Bowl & they haven't had a team in how long? Your point of view on the Bills situation (not including the Jax take) has been posted on this board MANY times over.

Yes you are correct kinda....... Jacksonville is a rapidly growing city and has a stable economy.. The reason why the super bowl will be here again because the NFL loves to see a small city like jacksonville put on a super bowl.. and by the time we get another super bowl we will deff have enough hotels and night life..... And for LA,Besides the differences in population, jacksonville and LA are the same type of football city... There both college crazy.. they dont care about NFL because they already have proffesional teams... Univ of Florida, and USC... I went to the same high school as team tebow so when a local kid is playing football on saturday(this goes for LA to) they would rather go see a game on saturday than sunday...... and really who has the time to see two games in two days

nucci Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Wow. Another thread on Wilson selling the Bills!! When will you people get it that he is not going to sell the team while he is alive. If he was going to do it , it would have been done many years ago.
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 first one...then the other A combination of both is definitely a possibility. I was also considering inbreeding.
