ExiledInIllinois Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 This food problem is IMO still a by-product of: "A chicken in everyone's pot." And not to catch flack... Any other generation given our resources and the way we deliver food would have equally fallen in this problem... Even worse. We are a "throw away society" that lives for the moment... It all goes hand in hand. Our society in the last 70+ years has taken the famine out of the "feast and famine equation."
DC Tom Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,482788,00.html Must be a slow news day, considering the press release was TWO YEARS AGO. Fox is such a joke. And Pennington Biomedical Research Center ain't all there, either. Not nearly as bad as the PCRM...but with such groundbreaking research as "Exercise and eating less causes weight loss", they're not exactly the Mayo Clinic, either.
Chump Change Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Double meat pucks con queso for $.99? What's wrong with that? It even comes with vegtables on it (reconstituted, onion flavored flecks).
