It's going to be much easier to convince California to pony up some dough for a single stadium instead of two. The Jets and Giants have made it work. JMO

Where the hell are they going to get the money to pay for this? The state is completely bankrupt. Maybe to draw more interest and increase ticket revenues they should combine teams and rename them The Oakland Aliens or the San Francisco Sodomites.

How about they build their own fuggin stadiums? There's so much money in the NFL why not? Players get multi million dollar deals so they should be able to afford a stadium right? I know before we can open up the doors at our business we have to pay for the building first.
WellDressed Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 I was watching yesterdays coverage of the Aussie open and rattling across the bottom of the screen comes.... the NFL would like the raiders and niners build and share a new stadium. It WAS espn, not adam shefter from the nfl network reporting this, so I'd take it for what it's worth.
