Or he should have gone through with stabbing Junior, gone to jail, and Tony had to live with the knowledge that he was turned into some prisoner's girlfriend. Not to get all Oprah on you all, but I think they did some great things with the AJ character as he got older. And the kid turned out to be a decent actor after a while. So much of Tony's self doubt and self loathing came from his relationship with his son. The show was always about family... AJ's character had a good arch. C'mon, I know it is another thread, but who here didn't get a little choked up, seeing Tony jump in the pool to save the kid after his (pathetic) suicide attempt?
