oak tree 12 Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 Honestly, as I stated in my thread about our DB's, we could use one as traid bait as Cle sorely needs DB help. This way we protect our high value draft picks for the most part and use them to fill other spots like DE, LB, and Center. For instance: Trade Cle one of the following for Winslow: Mcgee straight up (he is a FA next year and I doubt we retain him with the price tag he will command, espcially if we sign Greer). Package Greer with one of your TE's or a mid to late round pick (maybe a 5th). Package Youboty with maybe a 3rd or 4th rd pick. I think any of these deals Cle would have to consider...there is no way they get a better offer than McGee or a package of Greer and some change. No team has the combination of needing a TE as bad as we do and having the depth we have a position of need for Cle. are you freaking kidding me. we finally have 4 quality DB's maybe 5 and youboty was tearing it up until he got hurt and your idea is to get rid of our great young corners espically with the possibility that we are going to loose greer great idea. did you ever hear of the saying you can never have enough good corners? well its true. secondly if you think we are getting that lunitic winslow for the guys you mentioned your crazy. If Mack is drafted by Buffalo he would start over either one! pat kirwin and gill brandt agree with you they both stated that he will be starting for some team in the NFL his rookie year. We would obviously resign Greer... We are going to lose either Greer or McGee whether you like it or not for NADA!...yes NADA...does Clements or Winfield ring a bell. McGee is going to command top dollar next year as a unrestricted FA...if we keep Greer this year, there is no way the Bills FO pays McGee what he will get on the open market, especially with Leodis on the roster. So we either lose Greer for NADA this year, or we lose McGee for NADA next year! So, your Genius idea is to lose one of them for nothing one way or another? So, lets keep em both for one year...you know that one year we wont be in the Super Bowl, and get nothing out of that...awesome strategy...keep it up, maybe Matt Millen will give you a job as his advisor... Did anyone stop and realize. 90 yards per game with Fowler 147 with Duke Preston. He needs to play smarter for sure. I think this team has a lot of needs and maybe we shoudn't burn a 1st or 2nd round pick on a center. Do the math if you don't billeve it. DUDE......
