Other witnesses heard the coaches say they would run the players until someone quit the team. I woulda thunk that line of thinking went out the window long ago. BUFFALOTONE Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 In all of my years playing football in South Florida in the summer I have never heard of any player being denied water. Our coaches stressed on the subject to always drink plenty of fluids. I dont know if any of you ever had the pleasure of a south florida 2 a day but I would rather shovel sh-t in sandles then go through that again. Needing water was a sign of weakness and being lazy and out of shape. Then again it doesnt take much to be a coach in Jamestown because half the time no one wants the teams.
