nemhoff Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 IMO, over the past few drafts Mike Mayock has been the one analyst that is consistent in his evaluation of players and matching that with team needs (way better than our own FO). If he is saying take Everrett or Orapko (sp)? then I am with him all the way. That guy is money, didn't the Raiders try to hire him a couple of years ago?
BUFFALOTONE Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Not sure but I still have no idea how Kiper has a job. He has gushed over and over how teams have offered him jobs. Sorry but if I had a whole year to evaluate something or someone for 2 days worth of work I would hope to be spot on with every assessment.
BillsObserver Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I'm not sure the Raiders trying to hire him is a ringing endorsement.
silvermike Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I'm not sure the Raiders trying to hire him is a ringing endorsement. No, but his rejecting them is.
lets_go_bills Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Mayock is the draft guru. He played some football at BC and in the NFL. He watches more tape than anyone and scouts these guys non-stop. He's spot on because he does his homework.
