Stl Bills
Just some member of footballsfuture.com's mock draft but still entertaining none the less. BuffaloBaumer
wouldn't happen in a million years. It actually makes sense. Our guys are waaaay too stupid to pull that off

C.Biscuit97
Just say NO to greg carr. I believe you are a FSU fan, so why no on Carr? A good friend of mine who is a huge FSU fan loves Carr. Just curious that 2 fans of the same team could have such a different opinion on the same player? As for that mock, I peed myself a little bit. That is beautiful and addresses all our needs. I also realize center is a huge need, but centers do tend to get pick later so I'm not crazy about taking a center in the 1st. Plus, I like the fact that Caldwell played against the best defenses in the country every week.
Tortured Soul
We just drafted an OLB from Iowa State and look how that turned out. j/k

He's still basically just a jump-ball guy. and as for the mock draft: drool. that'd be awesome.

But the kid is the biggest waste of God-given talent on the planet. He's got the size and natural athletic ability to be an absolutely dominant WR. At 6'6" he can and does out jump everyone for the ball. He'd be a hell of a red zone target, and he's the #2 TD scorer in FSU history for WRs. But the kid lacks heart and desire. He's never turned into a big game WR down here because the desire isn't there. You always hear tidbits about him dogging it in practice. He runs crappy routes and has been known to take plays off if the ball isn't going to him. He's a lazy ass with a bad football attitude. He's got no work ethic. Now, if the right person came along and somehow managed to light a fire under his ass and get him to play to his potential, he could be unstoppable. The sky is the limit for the kid, but unfortunately he doesn't want it.

Brandon
I like it well enough, but if it plays out like that, I'd rather they pick: 1) DT BJ Raji 2) OC Alex Mack 3) TE James Casey

We cannot afford to miss with this pick...must have an immediate difference making contribution.
Stl Bills
OK then replace Greg Carr with Chase Daniel in the 5th.....I think that might make me crap my pants.
Ramius
Thanks for the write-up. That's definitely sounds like a definite guy to avoid. My friend tends to just like the flash so he probably overlooks his flaws. When Carr lit it up as a freshman down here, lots of people got excited. However, as was mentioned, he never progressed or developed a full set of game skills. If all he has to do is run a fly or a fade and out-jump some DB, he's fantastic. The rest of his game leaves lots to be desired. People were caught up in the eye-popping amount of TDs he scored. Unfortunately, he rarely did anything else. But, as i said, he's worth bringing in as a UDFA, or perhaps spending a late 7th on. See if someone can't get the kid motivated, or at the very least put him on the field in some jump ball situations (like we were supposed to do with Hardy this year). PastaJoe
I don't think Detroit will take a QB with the 1st pick. They'll take an OL or DL, and then get a veteran QB like Garcia or Leftwich. If they're smart they'll build the lines first, and then get a QB next year.

As silly as it is, I like the fact that Casey is married. I think it makes it easy to concentrate on football and not worry that Buffalo isn't Miami in terms of partying (though we can throw them back with the best of them ). The best thing about this draft is that there are a lot players that are in the Bills' position of need. We can't possibly screw it up, can we??? The best thing about this draft is that there are a lot players that are in the Bills' position of need. We can't possibly screw it up, can we??? The only realistic way they can screw this draft up is if they take a safety in R1 or even another CB. I can see this merry group of morons doing that, too. Otherwise, I think a solid case can be made for selecting almost any of our other need positions in R1, even lesser needs such as LB and, as much as it would irritate the fans, WR. BillsFanInTexas
while I admit that I went to SC for grad school, I also watch a fair bit of Big 12 football (wife went to KU and I live in Texas). Jared Cook will be a better pro TE than Chase Coffman. Cook alternated between WR and TE his first 2 years (he ran a 4.35 40). He was one of the only consistent threats for the SC offense and with subpar QBs, he still had a great year. he'd make an EXCELLENT 2nd rnd pick at TE.
