extrahammer Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Woo hoo! http://www.billsdaily.com/news/index.shtml#011909
DaGimp Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 I don't care if we are talking about the Super Bowl years or today's crap team-the Bills should get ZERO of my money.
Chandler#81 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Yeeesh! It costs WNY taxpayers more to have the Bills; Edwards bad shoulder has been that way for years; Hardy will likely be useless for his sophomore season as well... Does the 'Good News' ever stop?
Erik Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Woo hoo! http://www.billsdaily.com/news/index.shtml#011909 Wow...almost as much as the Yankees...
eSJayDee Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 And in exchange for that, they get income tax on probably about $200m, which is what, maybe $15m (that's one factor that I've never thought of about having a game in Toronto, NYS loses out on Income Tax presumably on about $8m). Sales tax revenue, increased upper echelon property values in WNY leading to lower school/property taxes for everyone else. Seems a worthwhile concession for financial reasons only let alone the "quality of life" aspect that it contributes to so many, especially those in WNY.
Got_Wood Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 It's like someone is building a case against the Bills in Buffalo lately. Can anyone publish a positive article on this team?
