My mom had him in school.

Sounds provacative..

I recently returned from a couple weeks in China. There is virtually NO CRIME whatsoever there (AND over a billion people)as most crimes carry the death penalty -including white-collar crime. Extremely expedient judicial system, virtually no appeal system and execution within the week. I think it hepls make for a very friendly people -compared to us, generally speaking.

Quick story, right out of college lived with 4 other guys in a house in DC's Crestwood neighborhood(BTW, it is a nice hood). Anyway, guy breaks into the house one afternoon, nosey neighbor sees it and calls the cops. Cops catch the guy about 1/2 mile a way on a bike he had stolen from us with a pillow case full of the stuff he stole. Now this is 87, so he took a couple of VCRs, some jewelry the other guys had, bunch of porno's, etc. We were not a great house to steal from as we were all recent college grads.

Anyway, cop comes in and says"dam, the guy really made a mess of this place looking for stuff" Didn't have the heart to tell him it looked exectly like we left it that morning LOl.

BTW, this idiot was wanted on a murder charge and get sent away for that and this robery.

I'm glad the cops were able to get your loot back. Of course, I think we can both agree that having Omar hunt him down would have been a lot more fun.

The game is real.

We need to be able to plug our cars in somehow to put a high voltage electrical charge through them. I knew a guy who did that to his floor freezer before. People were stealing meat out of it at night.

Anyway, I remember that punk in Singapore and the human cry from everyone here on how inhumane it was. Including slick Willy.

About ten years ago in post-apartheid South Africa, car theft was extremely common (among other crimes). I remember reading a story about one guy who was sick and tired of his car being broken in to, so he rigged a flamethrower to it, in such a way that when any of the side glass was broken flames would shoot up and out from under the car at whoever broke the glass.

As I recally, the "security system" killed someone trying to break into the car within a few short days. The car owner was tried for manslaughter or such...and found not guilty. Appropriately, in my opinion.

Michael Fay was the punk in Singapore

And he's the one to whom my mom TAUGHT THE STATE MANDATED MUSIC CURRICULUM.

 As if one doesn't already have to choose his words carefully enough around here! I should have heeded extra precaution when writing ANYTHING about dear old mum!!

Do you have the serial number for the GPS? You can always enter that into NCIC and see if it turns up in a pawn shop somewhere.

I wish I did.

Parked in the street, rear passenger side quarter panel glass smashed.

They got my Christmas present GPS. I foolishly left the suction cup windshield mount exposed and in view, not suctioned to the windshield, but in my cup holder. I am to blame, but I just wish thieves would face their victims.

Maybe they were just folks desperate for driving directions to DC for the inauguration.

Change You Can Believe In!
