ieatcrayonz
Why do so many people misuse the word 'penultimate'? If GW was the 'penultimate', then who was the 'ultimate' stand-up guy? You know what he meant, irregardless of how he said it. Please stop being a nyargle and let the thread proceed. This would have been interesting. The Senator
The tragedy is the history revisionists will say he allowed slavery to continue, and therefore belongs in the same trash heap as any European male. If not for that, he probably would be remembered as the 'ultimate' stand-up guy. (Or was that Henny Youngman?)

JPDontletthedoorhityourars
I watched this special too. It was very good and I learned a few things that I never learned in school about George Washington. Its too bad so many textbooks don't represent history as accurately as they should. When you have ex-hippie college professors who hate America writing textbooks and William Ayers' teaching political science they are not going to tell the truth. Their books will be filled with hate-spewed historical themes such as the KKK rather than the glorious cause of the revolutionary war.
