blzrul
Today I learned that an area dealer (50 years) closed their Honda dealership - just gone, no warning. That's kinda scary.
KD in CA
We're about to buy a new car. Fantastic timing to pit dealers against each other.

RLflutie7
Images At this rate the auto industry will have no choice but to lay off workers. Thanks for posting this. A picture is worth a 1,000 words. I'm pro UAW, but they do need to take an immediate $5 an hour pay cut, not just give up the job bank. But the white collar workers should take huge cuts also, not just blue collar workers. If we're all "a family" then everyone in the "family" can take cuts. Feds should investigate conflict of interest charges against these judges... I'm bettin they find some quid pro quo. Disgusting.

Just ask nearly everybody who was working in financial services a year ago. Or people who used to work for the developers. And, for the record, the big 3 white-collar workers *do* get let go. Even before this all started it was reported that GM was planning on letting 25k of their 100k salaried workers go over the next 5 years.
