Wacka Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Just heard that Ricardo Monteban (sp?) passed away today at 88.
Beerball Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I hope he is now able to lounge on Rich Corinthian Leather wherever he may be.
Bullpen Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 He lived a long and seemingly happy life... As Mr. Rourque would say... "smiles everyone... smiiiiiiiiles"
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Dee Plane, Dee Plane! As a kid, I used to live for the Saturday night lineup of The Love Boat and Fantasy Island. RIP Mr. Roarke!
The Senator Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I hope he is now able to lounge on Rich Corinthian Leather wherever he may be. Nobody says, "Corrrrrrrrrdobahhhhh" quite like Mr. Roarke.... link RIP, Kahn
TheMadCap Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Kahn was one of the greatest villians ever. Although they interact quite a bit in the film, Ricardo and Shatner filmed thier parts separately against a blank screen. They never acted a scene together at the same time...
GG Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 RIP. The movie was just on a few nights ago on HBO.
Steely Dan Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 RIP. The movie was just on a few nights ago on HBO. Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human. R.I.P. Mr. Rourke hope your fantasies are coming true now! Mr. Rourke: Tatoo what are your favorite M&M's? Tatoo: De Plain!! De Plain!!
ajzepp Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Phew! I thought Shatner was the one who left us.... RIP, Ricardo!
Wacka Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 Shatner will be around for years. He sure doesn't look 78.
ajzepp Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Shatner will be around for years. He sure doesn't look 78. He sure doesn't...I was shocked when I found out how old he was, just like when I realized Dustin Hoffman was in his 70s.
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Shatner will be around for years. He sure doesn't look 78. All bets will be off soon. Once one becomes an octogenarian things can get dicey very fast.
The Senator Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Qui fuerunt sed nunc ad astra - RIP, Kahn, somewhere aboard the...
Kevbeau Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 He sure doesn't...I was shocked when I found out how old he was, just like when I realized Dustin Hoffman was in his 70s. It's amazing what they can do with a little CGI and mirrors I say. I'm convinced Dick Clark is a cyborg.
Steely Dan Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Quick only 2 days left! What does that have to do with Ricardo Montalban?
