BeastMode54 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 At the beginning of games when he picks up the chalk and throws it in the air and everyone goes crazy, didn't KG do that for years? Why does Lebron get all the credit and commercials for it? Surprised KG hasn't said anything
buckeyemike Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I don't know if KG did it first, but I'm going to the Cavaliers-Hornets game Friday night, so I'll get to see it!
RayFinkle Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I think Mitch Gaylord did it first in the 1984 Olympics...
Bullpen Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I seem to remember MJ doing something very similar in the 90s to one of the Bulls Radio guys.
BUFFALOTONE Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I seem to remember MJ doing something very similar in the 90s to one of the Bulls Radio guys. Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders used to throw the white stuff around all the time. In limos, bathroom stalls, hookers asses you name it. They never got any credit for it.
gcb34 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Michael Jordan started doing that to Johnny "Red" Kerr every night without fail. All these NBA guys copy MJ
The Poojer Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 thats not such a bad thing... All these NBA guys copy MJ

Thanks GCB! thats not such a bad thing... ... it is, when very few players (if any) are actually doing a GOOD JOB of copying MJ.
