Dante Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 "The Prisoner" had to be the strangest, and somehow coolest series ever. Never really could figure it out though. Loved the big bubble that chased people down.
KD in CA Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 RIP My all time favorite movie bad guy. Braveheart, Escape from Alcatraz, Silver Streak. He was the man.

PromoTheRobot Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 That was an odd series. Odder still that CBS, a mainstream network, showed it in prime time back in the 60's. It sure wasn't the Carol Burnett show. PTR

PTR No way that happens now, at least on the "major networks". Too formulated. Too lame. Now I can see it being shown on Bravo, Sci- Fi Network.
Steely Dan Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 RIP My all time favorite movie bad guy. Braveheart, Escape from Alcatraz, Silver Streak. He was the man. Silver Streak!! That's where I developed a crush on Jill Clayburgh!

Loved the big bubble that chased people down. Agreed. Somehow that image sticks with you, all through the years...even though the show only ran for one season (17 episodes).
