Chuckknox Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 He maybe a good option that will not cost too much $$$
/dev/null Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Makes too much sense for Ralph and Dick to even consider
BillsObserver Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 He maybe a good option that will not cost too much $$$ He's also injury prone just like everyone's favorite, Trent Edwards. He should come at a cheap price and that definitely matters with this front office.
cantankerous Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 He's a much better back up than John Losman.
robkmil Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 He maybe a good option that will not cost too much $$$ only as a backup---he could help us out.
KD in CA Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 He's a much better back up than John Losman. Of coures he is....he was someone else's "Losman". Dude lost his job in Jax for a reason.
Yoho Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Makes too much sense for Ralph and Dick to even consider don't you ever get bored of it?
silvermike Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I'd happily take him as a backup. I really don't see any better options out there who would come in and play a backup role.
BillsObserver Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 It's pretty funny how some people value Byron Leftwich because he's successfully pulled off the job of being Big Ben's back-up. People forget he was only signed when Charlie freakin' Batch was injured in the pre-season.
Flbillsfan#1 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Of coures he is....he was someone else's "Losman". Dude lost his job in Jax for a reason. Yeah & look how great Jax did this year without him, & with Greggo as DC.
Fingon Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 It's pretty funny how some people value Byron Leftwich because he's successfully pulled off the job of being Big Ben's back-up. People forget he was only signed when Charlie freakin' Batch was injured in the pre-season. Batch is a very good backup.
kota Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Has the longest delivery in the NFL makes him prone to INT's and Fumbles. No thanks.
BillsObserver Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Batch is a very good backup. No. He's a back-up, that's all.
Kettle Creek Football Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 No matter how good or bad he is, I'm sure he'll be way too expensive for da Bills' "Inner Circle"
robkmil Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I'd happily take him as a backup. I really don't see any better options out there who would come in and play a backup role. I think Garcia is the best option as a backup--but i think he doesn't come cheap
robkmil Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 No matter how good or bad he is, I'm sure he'll be way too expensive for da Bills' "Inner Circle" Are people gonna say this with everybody discussed? I'm sick of it. We bring in expensive free agents and meet with a lot. I am personally glad that we don't overpay for all of the free agent busts.
Flbillsfan#1 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I think Garcia is the best option as a backup--but i think he doesn't come cheap He also is injury prone. If he had ANYTHING left the Bucs would have kept him.
BillsObserver Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I think Garcia is the best option as a backup--but i think he doesn't come cheap Jeff Garcia isn't coming to Buffalo to be a back-up.
Bmwolf21 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Yeah & look how great Jax did this year without him, & with Greggo as DC. I'd say there's a lot of blame to go around for how Jacksonville played this year, but to equate the Jags' struggles with a backup QB who was cut loose before the start of the team's 11-5 season in 2007 is a very tough sell.
