Erik
What about L.J. Smith? He's got all the talent in the world, he's an East Coast kid but he's always injured. He would definitely bring an added dimension to the offense and we may be able to get him on the cheap since he is coming off of an injury riddled season. Is he worth it? I think LJ would be a solid pick up for us and could come at a very reasonable price. With him and Fine I think we would be solid at TE and it would allow us to focus on other areas in the draft and FA. Not my first choice, but not a bad one either. rackemrack
deffinitely an upgrade. if we could get him for the right price it would be stupid not to try.

nucci
but more talented than robert royal Yes, but what good is he if he doesn't play? I am in Philly and he has done nothing this year and they wont miss him.
bschmoove
I watched LJ for the four years I lived in South Jersey. Standard underachiever. Of course having balls thrown at your feet half ther time doesn't help ...

It is a huge hole to fill.
LynchMob23
We don't have to draft a TE in round one - there are going to be guys like James Casey (Cooley version 2) or Jared Cook that will be there in 2 or 3 and we can snap up if we just want to do the Y-open stuff that the colts do with Dallas. Dante
He's always hurt. I know, he was my starting TE for fantasy team. Needless to say that was the weakest position on my team. I actually ended up starting Robert Royal in more games than I would like to admit. So what does that tell yah/
billieve420
We can't afford to sign a player who will be on the injured list and unavailable to play the majority of the time.
John Adams
He sucks and as to his "talent," it's never shown itself in the NFL. He's a quitter and I have no interest. The Eagles think he's a joke and he is.
