SuperBills12 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 it could happen....what a terrible year in the NFL imo...mind you im from MD
marauderswr80 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 When the Pats are not in it, its not terrible. I kinda want to see a Giants Steelers matchup in the SB........did you know if SD wins against Pitt, they could host the AFC Champ game with a 10-8 record.

SD and Zona could be hosting championship games. Has there been a worse final 4 in nfl history?
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 it could happen....what a terrible year in the NFL imo...mind you im from MD AZ vs Sandy Eggo. That sound you hear would be heads exploding across the league
thewildrabbit Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 If Kurt Warner plays like he did in the NE game earlier this season, what with the cold weather in NY or Philly I doubt they will advance.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 If Kurt Warner plays like he did in the NE game earlier this season, what with the cold weather in NY or Philly I doubt they will advance. If Philly beats the giants the NFC Championship is in Arizona, but agree about the weather issue in NJ.
buckeyemike Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 AZ vs Sandy Eggo. That sound you hear would be heads exploding across the league Just for that reason I'm rooting for it to happen.
EasternOHBillsFan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 SD and Zona could be hosting championship games. Has there been a worse final 4 in nfl history? Try the strike season of 1982-83... it gets worse LOL
KD in CA Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 AZ vs Sandy Eggo. That sound you hear would be heads exploding across the league I would love that. The whining from the Pats* fans would be music to our ears.
gobillsinytown Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I actually like it. I don't miss the "dynasties" at all. Anything can happen. If the fish can go from 1-15 to 11-5, and the Cardinals can make it to the NFC championship game, then the Bills could have a good season next year. I know it doesn't seem that way now, but you never know in the free agency era!
SKOOBY Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 SD and Zona could be hosting championship games. Has there been a worse final 4 in nfl history? SD at the beginning of the year wouldn't of been too far out of whack but after 3/4 of the way through with SD being 4-8, yeah that's messed up.
BuffOrange Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Try the strike season of 1982-83... it gets worse LOL The Raiders, Redskins & 49ers were pretty good that year, no?
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I would love that. The whining from the Pats* fans would be music to our ears. I'm 4 it too, just 4 that reason Not just the Pats fans Enough whine to stock the cellars of half the restaurants in NJ and NYC I am pulling so hard for the Eagles 'cuz I agree Kurt Warner would wilt in NJ
billnutinphoenix Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 If Cards play at home - Cards will win..If they play at Giants..Giants will roll...
BuffaloWings Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 A Penn Super Bowl...Stillers vs Iggles I think that or a Giants-Steelers Super Bowl gets pretty high ratings.
Max997 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 it could happen....what a terrible year in the NFL imo...mind you im from MD why would that make it a terrible year in the NFL? nothing wrong with seeing some different teams in there...the Cards are fun the watch offensively and the Ravens defensively, would be an intriguing matchup I would like to see an Arizona San Diego Super Bowl myself
May Day 10 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Ill feel awesome if Arizona wins a Super Bowl before Buffalo
Rico Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Well, I do NOT miss seeing the 17-0 Pats in there lol... but I think a Super Bowl is cheapened anytime one or both teams plays really crappy during a good part of the season but gets hot at the end (eg. Ravens '00. Colts '06, Giants '07). Nothing against them, really... they got the job done & got their rings. But I don't think they compare to some of the true powerhouse teams who played consistently great throughout the season. A Philly-San Diego Super Bowl this year would be pretty ridiculous IMO.
