BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I thought the same thing. Of course we didn't get a replay and the announcers didn't have a clue. He appeared to be within inches. You are absolutely right, not a single replay, not a single mention by the announcers. I'm not sure why but I'm rooting for the Ravens.
Dan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Add me to the list that thought he was out. Replays would sure be nice.
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 The definition of a game manager: Joe Flacco. If we could only swap defenses with Baltimore.
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 LOL. That play clock was on zero for a long time. Talk about getting all the breaks...
/dev/null Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 LOL. That play clock was on zero for a long time. Talk about getting all the breaks... Without Belicheat and the Patriots* in the playoffs, the refs appear to have found an alternate source of revenue
Dan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I'm guessin the refs got somewhere to be and don't want overtime? That was clearly delay of game penalty.
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I thought you could challenge that. No???
Dan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I thought you could challenge that. No??? not sure
/dev/null Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Flacco is not phased by any of this. And he doesn't wear gloves either
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 And he doesn't wear gloves either And they're doing this with a rookie head coach and a rookie quarterback. Continuity, huh?
VOR Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 And they're doing this with a rookie head coach and a rookie quarterback. Continuity, huh? Actually they're doing this mostly with a great defense.
Beerball Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Actually they're doing this mostly with a great defense. Ask yourself what Dick would have done on the 3rd down.
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Actually they're doing this mostly with a great defense. Tell me their record last year with the same defense. Actually, I'll tell you: 5-11.
The Dean Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I thought you could challenge that. No??? It was after the 2 minute warning and would have to be an official review. I can't believe they didn't get review it, though. EDIT: I was wrong. It was before the 2 minute mark. If that was reviewable it was a huge mistake to not throw the flag.
Dan Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Ask yourself what Dick would have done on the 3rd down. Run into the line. Then miss a 52 yard FG attempt. Titans get the short field and kick a last second FG to win.
Big Turk Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 wow..Titans go down hard after basically moving the ball up and down the field against Raven defense but not scoring any points...sounds familiar...
VOR Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Tell me their record last year with the same defense. Actually, I'll tell you: 5-11. The defense has played better and the rushing game is a lot better than last year. That has nothing to do with Flacco. Harbaugh maybe.
K-Gun10 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Tell me their record last year with the same defense. Actually, I'll tell you: 5-11. Wrong they didnt have Jim Leohnard.
