KD in CA Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 No better way to spend a snowstorm than lighting a fire and watching the playoffs. Well....other than the Bills being in the playoffs of course... Man, wouldn't it be great if the Bills could play defense like the Ravens or Titans?
BuffaloWings Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Ahmad Hall meet Ray Lewis Wow!!! I didn't think the Titans could run on Baltimore, but Chris Johnson is running with some fire.
/dev/null Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Wow!!! I didn't think the Titans could run on Baltimore, but Chris Johnson is running with some fire. Kerry Collins isn't having a bad day passing either

I honestly can't remember the last time the Bills played with even a fraction of the intensity that either of these teams is displaying.
Ozymandius Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Titans would be up in this game perhaps by two scores if their backup center didn't have so many snapping issues. The playoffs is a bad, bad time to lose your starting center.
KD in CA Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Titans might want to consider covering Derek Mason deep for the rest of this game. Almost got burned again leaving him wide open.
zow2 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Baltimore is getting outplayed but they are dodging so many bullets you figure they will pull the upset in the end.
Beerball Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I honestly can't remember the last time the Bills played with even a fraction of the intensity that either of these teams is displaying. Thank you, you couldn't be more right. Thing is they don't just play that way. They handle the off season with intensity. Training camp is intense. Practice during the season is intense. Surprisingly...games are played with intensity.
BuffaloWings Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Baltimore is getting outplayed but they are dodging so many bullets you figure they will pull the upset in the end. Two long passes, combined with a Tenn missed FG and 2 turnovers, and Baltimore is about to take the lead. I picked the Titans to win and now I'm wondering if they're overrated or just suffering from bad luck today.
/dev/null Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 The more I watch McGahee in a Ravens uniform the more I appreciate those 3rd round picks
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 How about all of these injuries? Brutal game in the trenches.. Titans look like a different team without Johnson. That being said, despite the turnovers and bad field position throughout the game, they're only down 3 points.

Because they blew early chances Baltimore was able to remain in the game and they will ultimately win it.
Beerball Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Would Evans make the catch that Gage just did? In the middle, very high throw.
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I would take the opposite tack. Because they blew early chances Baltimore was able to remain in the game and they will ultimately win it. Truth is, Collins threw a boneheaded interception off his back foot, and L. White fumbled near the red zone trying to do too much. Don't forget all of the penalties the Titans have taken. Considering the defense they are playing, they're lucky to be in this game. Baltimore's offense has done their team no favors either. Loving this game...
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 And guess what.. just as I post that, the Titans turn it over again! WOW!
BillsObserver Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 How close was Flacco to stepping out of bounds in the end zone? That looked close!
jwws9999 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 And guess what.. just as I post that, the Titans turn it over again! WOW! Leonard did a great job forcing that fumble, why can't whitner do that
Beerball Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 How close was Flacco to stepping out of bounds in the end zone? That looked close! I thought the same thing. Of course we didn't get a replay and the announcers didn't have a clue. He appeared to be within inches.
