You know better than to fall in love with a player before the combine. What if he has the 4th best time in the cone drill? What if he slips on the start of his 40? What if he only gets 23 reps on the bench and another DE gets 25?

At this point we don't know anything about these guys. All we've been able to do is watch them on the field. After Indy...then we'll know who the real players are.

Seriously? I thought people were idiots for giving up on McCargo after his first 2 seasons. He definitely shown glimpses of being a solid player last year. And I will admit that as a Bills fan, i will give our players more of a benefit of the doubt. I guess he lacked motivation and struggled with injuries this year. But I'm not going to 2nd guess myself for not giving up on a player too early.

But congrats on being right that the Bills made some mistakes. Personally, I'm more concerned about the Bills being a successful team than being right.

Sure, his problems only manifested themselves "this year."

A number of people knew, from watching him play at NC State, that he was not a good player and that he was simply riding the coat-tails of Manny Lawson and Mario Williams. When intelligent fans called it out, folks like you were quick with the personal attacks. Now, when it's clear that you were wrong, you pull the "I'm a fan and you're not excuse." How pathetic. Objective fans are capable of calling a spade a spade and don't simply extol every personnel move because the player wears red, white and blue.
