went to Scooters today for lunch

it about a 1/2 mile from my house

ordered 2 Beef on Weck and a

side of fries

Fries - nice like a steak cut only about 1/2 the width

nice and crispy little salt, no vinegar that I could

see at any of the tables though

Beef on Weck - piled high a bit over cooked, I like

mine on the Medium side this was

on the the other side of Well,

Weck roll was good but needed more salt

and seeds

Horseradish - not enough and not hot enough either

service - a bit on the slow side, owner was cooking not

his wife, could tell he had no idea what to do

overall pretty good will have to go there a few more times

ratting: :rolleyes::rolleyes::lol: out of 5

I think that's their 1st restaurant. Glad you liked the place. I went back Friday night for Pizza & wings and it was pretty good. If you want a thicker crust, just ask while you're ordering.

Is it worth the drive up from Richmond? Do they have Genny Cream Ale?

Nothing like being drunk, stupid and drag racing cars on the street. :wallbash:

Explains a lot when it comes to Jim, though.

My friends & I waited on the DRINKING until AFTER the races. Ohio Street was a DESERTED stretch of road that went NOWHERE. The only people there were the people there for the races. Was it dangerous? Yes, but everyone there knew of and accepted the danger.

It was a 4 lane one way road that lead to the coast guard base. If any of these panty

asses cares to check its still there. Drinking? Hell no this was serious business- I saw cars brought in on trailers.

Sorry, no Genny's. Their Beef on weck and wings are good. My wife got their "SOB" burger, which had onions, bacon, cheese & guacamole which was very good.
